Firstly, we hope this letter finds you safe and healthy and that you and your families are continuing to follow the Government instructions and are coping ok with the lockdown as we continue to fight COVID-19.
Following our previous update dated 27th March, we have continued to follow intently the developments and instructions from the Government and have reacted accordingly to the ever-changing situation facing every one of us. With that in mind, and following the recent interview with The Secretary of State, Matthew Hancock, who actively encouraged the Construction Industry to return to work, we have had to ramp up the execution of our planned Re-Engagement Programme and will be looking to implement the following:
Friday 1st May
50% of our Servicing Personnel will be un-furloughed and return to work, they will undertake re-engagement briefings ready to recommence Servicing from Monday 4th May.
Week commencing 4th May
Regular servicing will commence across the company, although this will initially be rolled out on a fortnightly basis, not the normal weekly basis. Limited new hires will also be accepted from this date and servicing of these contracts will also follow the temporary fortnightly servicing schedule. The fortnightly servicing schedule will be reviewed periodically with the aim to return to a weekly servicing programme as soon as it is safely and practically possible to implement, so please bear with us as we execute the next stage of our Re-Engagement Programme.
It is our intention to invoice in the normal way throughout May, with any relevant adjustments being applied as we did with all April invoices.
With regards to outstanding debt, it remains vital that all outstanding aged debts are paid promptly.
We are all in the same situation, and we remain dedicated to paying our suppliers promptly. Without the necessary cash flow this quickly becomes impractical, so we all need to play our part. Please ensure you settle all outstanding debt promptly, but should this cause you a problem, please let us know, so we can discuss your account and help you manage any debt in the short term.
